Data Protection
1. Controller and contact
The data controller is Sparkly Wavehub Academy, 5丁目7番9号, 湖山内区, 富山県 893-8921, Japan. For privacy requests email privacy@sparkly-wavehub.pro or write to the postal address above.
2. Scope and children
This notice covers personal data collected through sparkly-wavehub.pro and related enrollment workflows. Our services target adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without verifiable guardian consent.
3. Categories of personal data
We may process identity and contact data (name, email, company), account credentials, billing references (processed by partners when applicable), technical logs (IP, device, browser), cookie identifiers, class participation metadata, and recordings where you provide explicit consent.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to deliver training, schedule mentors, secure labs, improve content, respond to inquiries, and meet legal obligations. Legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement balanced against your rights), and consent where required—for example non-essential cookies or optional recordings.
5. Retention
Contact form submissions are retained up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for disputes. Account and enrollment records follow tax and company law requirements, typically seven years for operational records in Japan unless a shorter period applies. Cookie retention varies by type as listed in the Cookie Preferences page.
6. Recipients and processors
We use infrastructure, email, analytics (if allowed), and conferencing vendors who process data under agreements. Where data leaves Japan, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses when required.
7. International transfers
Some processors may store data in the EU, US, or other regions. We assess transfer mechanisms and provide copies of relevant safeguards upon justified request.
8. Security measures
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege administration, and vendor due diligence. No method is perfect; please use strong passwords and report suspected incidents promptly.
9. Your rights
Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and related guidance, you may request access, correction, deletion where applicable, restriction, explanation of records, and cessation of third-party provision subject to exceptions (e.g., legal retention). You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission in Japan.
10. Automated decisions and updates
We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similar significant effects. We may update this notice; material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised last updated date.
